They ensure the operations and daily preventive and corrective maintenance of all public and private areas, both exterior and interior, in compliance with the laws, regulations and standards in force. They collaborate with the Institution's Programs Division for space and equipment needs. Job summaryAt the CCA, the site is conceived as an evolving ensemble; a physical framework that supports research, reflection, and public engagement around architecture. The Project Manager, Buildings and Grounds is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects related to the CCA?s buildings and grounds. In collaboration with internal teams and external partners, they implement projects in alignment with established priorities, orientations, and frameworks. The role is centered on quality of execution, rigorous follow-up, and project traceability, as well as on coordinating the various stakeholders involved. It contributes to the documentation of interventions and the identification of issues, in support of operations, maintenance, and compliance functions. This position does not exercise authority over day-to-day building operations or responsibilities related to maintenance, safety, or regulatory compliance, but rather supports their implementation within the scope of projects. Key responsibilities- Leads the implementation of projects related to buildings and grounds, from planning to delivery, respecting established priorities, orientations and budgets;- Coordinates project-related interventions with internal teams and external partners, ensuring the quality of execution and the fluidity of operations;- Ensures rigorous monitoring of projects (schedules, costs, quality), documents progress and reports deviations or issues to the relevant stakeholders;- Contributes to the identification, documentation and monitoring of project risks, and ensures the implementation of required corrective actions;- Supports the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements in projects, by applying the procedures and protocols in place, and defining best practices where none exist;- Ensures the coordination of suppliers within the framework of projects, ensuring compliance with mandates, deadlines and quality and safety requirements;- Implements and maintains monitoring and documentation tools (project monitoring, registers, project-related intervention histories), to ensure traceability and continuity of information;- Prepares and periodically updates scope and cost estimates for future projects identified in the long-term asset management plan;- Contributes to the integration of the principles of sustainability, accessibility and quality of use in the implementation of projects, in line with the CCA's mission.Qualifications- Education: Undergraduate degree (bachelor?s degree) in engineering, architecture, project management or equivalent. Project Management certification is an asset;- Number of years of experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in technical project management (engineering, construction, production);- In-depth knowledge specific to a scientific sector or regulations related to the CCA's sector of activity or sector of professional activity;- Very good knowledge of French and English, both oral and written;- Demonstrate a high level of rigor in planning, logistics, and documentation for projects carried out concurrently with multidisciplinary teams composed of internal and/or external members;- Concern for cleanliness, quality of work, and safety;- Exc- Location Montréal, QCH3H 2S6
