Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Spiking. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
