*Job Summary* Indian Restaurant in Brampton. We are seeking 5 Females Full-time/Part-time/Weekends who?re friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food handling, with a strong focus on accuracy, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing transactions, assisting customers, and supporting overall restaurant operations to ensure a positive dining experience. Please note - English, Punjabi and Hindi languages speaking are an asset. *Duties* * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments * Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations for change and totals * Assist with food preparation and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met * Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cashier station and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety regulations * Support serving staff by managing order accuracy and timely processing of transactions * Ensure proper food safety practices are followed during all cashiering activities * Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and improve customer satisfaction *Experience* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred * Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable * Experience in cashiering, food handling, and serving roles is advantageous * Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively * Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure smooth operations This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food industry while contributing to a positive customer experience.
