Don't go unnoticed!WHAT WILL YOU DO?Develop solutions to high complexity problems with frameworks and design patternsLeverage AI to accelerate code developmentGather and assess requirements and recommend approachesWrite and test code, consider non-functional requirementsWork within an agile team and follow scrum best practicesReview existing code to assess ongoing feasibility and maintainabilityConduct impact analysis for proposed changes to or problems with the systemProvide advice and guidance to product owner that will inform product decisionsStay current and competitive by keeping up-to-date with the latest Android platform capabilities and make relevant recommendationsArticulate technical solutions to a broad audience ranging from non-technical to technical architects through presentations and dcoumentsUphold the development team's coding standards by conducting peer code reviewsMentoring junior developers in the area of software engineering and Android best practicesWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?MUST HAVE:2+ years developing native Android applications, 3+ years of Java experience.Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, Android application architecture and software design patternsExperience with Android libraries and best practices when it comes to communicating with RESTful servicesAutomated testing via Junit and platform specific frameworks like Robolectric and EspressoStrong communication skills, ability to collaborate with stake-holders at different levels of abstraction (requirements, architecture and code)Understanding of Agile MethodologiesSoftware Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree from an accredited University/College.NICE-TO-HAVE:Kotlin experienceKnowledge of new and upcoming sdk components in the Android spaceGood understanding of design patterns such as MVVM, and how they can be applied to Android developmentKnowledge of security protocols such as OAuth and OpenID.Securing data using the Android KeystoreDeveloping with accessibility in mindWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
