Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Work setting: Construction. Service. Repair. Commercial. Installation. Tasks: Install electrical controls and panel boxes. Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Professionalism in customer service. Install underground wiring and cables. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Splice, join and connect wires. Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs. Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Apprenticeship training: Level two apprenticeship training. Level three apprenticeship training. Level four apprenticeship training. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat.
