*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various flooring materials, tiles, and other related components in residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret blueprints to ensure precise installation. The Installer will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality results that meet specifications and safety standards. *Duties* * Install flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile according to project plans and specifications * Lay tiles with precision, ensuring proper alignment and adhesion for durability and aesthetic appeal * Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately * Utilize hand tools including saws, drills, trowels, and levels to complete tasks efficiently * Perform carpentry tasks related to framing, subfloor preparation, or custom trim work as needed * Apply caulking around fixtures, seams, or edges to ensure waterproofing and finished appearance * Conduct site inspections during and after installation to verify quality standards are met * Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines *Requirements* * Proven experience with flooring installation, tile laying, or general construction projects * Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and caulking guns * Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately * Strong carpentry skills with knowledge of framing or trim work preferred * Handyman experience is a plus for versatile task execution * Knowledge of construction safety protocols and best practices * Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship * Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions * Prior experience in caulking or finishing work is advantageous This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while honing your craftsmanship skills within a professional team environment.
