Tasks: Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment. Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas. Remove kitchen garbage and trash. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Slice cooked meats. Food preparation. Supervision: Food service counter attendants and food preparers. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food Safety Certificate. Type of product: Food and food products. Computer and technology knowledge: HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge. Equipment and machinery experience: Slicing machine. Area of work experience: Food services.
