*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook with experience to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards. If you have a passion for the food industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Experience with Greek cuisine is preferred but not required. *Responsibilities* * Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. * Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. * Ensure all food safety and handling procedures are followed to maintain high hygiene standards. * Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. * Help with menu planning and special requests as needed. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques. *Skills* * Proficient in meal preparation techniques and understanding of various cooking methods. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. * Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Strong ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation and service of meals. * Attention to detail in maintaining quality standards for food presentation and taste. * Ability to adapt quickly to changing menus or customer requests.
