Assist in preparing rock, mineral or metal samples. Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps and cross sections. Computer and technology knowledge: Geographic Information System (GIS). Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. MS Office. Field work location experience: On land. Technical experience: Mapping and surveying. Geological sampling analysis. Geochemical sampling analysis. Geotechnical studies. Area of work experience: Data interpretation and evaluation. Field sampling and data acquisition. Geological mapping.
