*Job Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions using industry-standard software. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the financial health and compliance of our organization. The successful applicant will have a strong background in bookkeeping, data entry, and financial analysis, with proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms. Also helping with customer service with parts and service work. Working in more than 1 database or more than 1 company. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software in QuickBooks linked to other shop programs. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. * Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data across various systems. * Conduct data entry tasks related to financial transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail. * Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly. * Support month-end closing procedures and prepare reports for management review. * Maintain compliance with internal controls and external regulations governing financial operations. *Qualifications* * Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks. * Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, and payroll processing. * Proficiency in data entry and financial analysis with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to perform math accurately and analyze complex account data effectively. * Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting standards. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. * Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and external vendors. * A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred; relevant work experience is highly valued.
