Into the Woods Early Learning Child Care Studio is currently looking for an ECEA or RA to join our team for a seasonal position (July and August). *JOB DESCRIPTION* The Early Childhood Educator Assistant or Responsible Adult works under the direction of the Executive Director to implement an emergent, nature and play-based Early Learning program. They will provide quality child care to community families from ages 0-5. *Required Qualifications:* ? Certified Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) or Certified Responsible Adult (RA) ? Current First Aid is an asset ? Food safe certification an asset ? Clear Criminal Record check is mandatory ? Experience working in nature programs an asset ? Experience working with children ages 0 - 5 ? Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills ? Willingness to work various shifts during operating hours *Compensation and Benefits:* ? $18.25 per hour (funded by Canada Summer Jobs grant) ? 4% vacation pay This posting will remain active until position is filled. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.25 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site childcare * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Ability to commute/relocate: * Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1H5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: * ECEA or RA Certificate?
