Looking for qualified people with a positive attitude! Border Mechanical Services Ltd. is looking for an experienced, reliable, and professional HVAC Service/Maintenance Apprentice - 3rd year, 4th year or Journey-person to work full time. Border Mechanical has been in business for 25+ years with our head office located in Kelowna. We are a mid-sized family owned and operated business, focused on residential & light commercial service in the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical sectors throughout the Central Okanagan Valley. To qualify for our team, you must meet the following criteria: * 3+ years experience in the HVAC field * Must be well groomed and have a neat appearance * CFC certified * Able to quickly troubleshoot problems * Attention to detail and a desire to see the job done right the first time * Friendly personable, responds to customer concerns, and enjoys making our customers smile * Valid driver?s license and a clean driving record * Desire to perform beyond the mandatory job requirements * Ability to follow proper safety techniques * Hold a current TQ or possess a minimum Gas Fitter C license. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push, pull, or carry heavy objects. You must be able to maneuver heavier objects with assistance from appropriate devices or additional manpower. You must be able to climb ladders and work in small crawl spaces.
