*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities ranging from monitoring premises to responding to incidents. A strong background in security practices and law enforcement is preferred. *Responsibilities* * Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. * Respond promptly to incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken. * Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. * Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed in the event of an emergency. * Document incidents and prepare reports for management review, ensuring accurate records are maintained. * Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential disturbances effectively. * Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and best practices. *Skills* * Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing. * Strong observational skills with attention to detail. * Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. * Physical ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time * Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license *Requirements:* * Valid Drivers License * Must have their own car * Valid First Aid/CPR, Non Violet Crisis Intervention, Use of force, Mental Health First Aid Trainings are an asset * No Criminal Background *Work Location:* In person Join us as a Security Officer where your expertise will contribute significantly to creating a safe environment for everyone involved!
