*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, serving, and cashiering, with a strong focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, POS systems, and upselling techniques while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS * Prepare and serve food items following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines * Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces * Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service * Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and upselling menu items when appropriate * Manage time effectively to ensure smooth operation during busy hours * Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests *Experience* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred * Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus * Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally * Familiarity with food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for transactions * Experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or kitchen work is advantageous * Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail * Prior hospitality or guest services experience will be beneficial for success in this role Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour Work Location: In person- Location Winnipeg, MB
