Our Chef is looking for to add some talented cooks to our already talented crew! We're looking for experience and passion. A hard worker and effective communicator. We?re looking for someone who wants to be a part our great local business. We are a scratch kitchen. If you like to cook and are good at it... our kitchen is where you want to be. We're looking for cooks with a minimum of 1 year experience in professional / production kitchens who are effective communicators. _Mission Statement: Our mission is to brew outstanding beers and provide a genuine culinary experience that reflects our community?s appetite for a simple, authentic, feel-good occasion. Striving to foster unforgettable gatherings for friends, families, and neighbours to revel in the perfect blend of craft beer, BBQ, and authentic Italian pizza._ Responsibilities include: * Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Drifter Brew Co. · Responsible for all kitchen functions including preparation and maintenance of quality standards, preparation, plate presentation, portion, cost control, and sanitation and cleanliness. * Open or Closing Kitchen * Following all recipes and preparation items to specifications. * Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions. * Keeping stations professional, clean and sanitary. * Follow appropriate food handling practices at all times in the kitchen and throughout the restaurant. * Responsible for following appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, kitchen equipment and food storage areas. * Dress the part, including all safety and required dress and footwear. * Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement. * Be professional in all interactions with staff and guests. * Lead by example. * Strive for simplicity * Focus on Positivity * Value Authenticity * Be Present * Value Teamwork * Be respectful * Hustle * Be Engaged and Collaborate Please apply via the Indeed post, or stop in with your resume during non-peak hours and ask to speak with the Manager.
