*Job Summary* We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience with retail sales or POS systems are a plus. The Cashier will be responsible for managing cash handling, upselling products, and maintaining an organized checkout area. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases * Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions * Handle cash, credit, and debit payments securely and efficiently * Provide product information and perform product demos when needed * Upsell additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area * Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy * Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves as necessary * Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and security * Assist in inventory management and stock organization as required *Skills* * Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus * Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately * Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures * Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively * Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities * Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases * Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies Pay: $17.85-$26.58 per hour Work Location: In person
