*Diesel Mechanic * As a full-time Service technician with G.C. Hudson Supply, you will utilize your skills and experience to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner. *Duties* * Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental units involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems. * Maintain documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis * When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental units; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner * Adhere to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to management * Other duties as assigned as needed *Job Requirements* * Minimum high school diploma * 310T license/experience an asset * Technical education at a university/college an asset * 3-5 years? experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools * Valid driver?s license * Acceptable driver?s abstract * Clean criminal record check * Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools * Strong mechanical background and knowledge of various engines * Must own tools applicable to position * Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills * Ability to frequently lift items up to 45+ lbs. *We Offer* * Competitive wages * Annual safety clothing allowance * Benefits including extended health, medical, dental, vision * Group RRSP plan with company match * Training and development opportunities \* We sincerely thank all those who apply, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted\* Work remotely * No Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * RRSP match * Vision care Experience: * Diesel Engine, Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Brockville, ON
