Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Reliability. Team player. Experience: No experience (will train). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
