To do that, we employ qualified, competent, and caring individuals who are dedicated to their professions and to our vision of Healthy People, Healthy Communities.Job SummaryNL Health Services Central Zone is seeking a Family Medicine Physician at Dr. C.V Smith Memorial Community Health Center in Glovertown, NL.Reporting to the Chief of Family Medicine, the successful incumbent will attend family medicine clinics Monday to Friday at set times between 0830 ? 1630 hours daily (with 1 hour for lunch from 12-1) within the Dr. C. V. Smith Community Health Centre. The Physician will be expected to have a patient roster. In addition to seeing regularly scheduled patients and walk-ins/new patients, the Physician spends time each day (within the above time frames) reviewing lab data, letters and charts, completing consultant letters, returning telephone calls, teaching, completing various insurance forms, etcOur ideal candidates will have a strong patient focus and excellent communication skills with a keen interest in practicing in a collaborative team approach. Hours of work may need flexibility to offer clinics during the daytime, after-hours and on weekends to meet patient needs.
