Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Non-smoking. Work setting: Construction. Renovation. Various locations. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Determine layout and installation procedures. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Utilize hand and power tools. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Repair and maintain equipment. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Maintain and repair piping systems. Install equipment. Install and test piping systems. Examine and verify the accuracy of work . Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Area of specialization: Swimming pools/equipment. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check.
