This is an excellent opportunity for you if you enjoy working in a client-focused environment and want to be part of a stable and supportive team We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our growing public practice firm in West Edmonton. *Responsibilities* * Preparing GST returns. * Processing payroll transactions. * Processing and reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable. * Preparing monthly financial statements. * Completing bank reconciliations. * Preparing the personal tax returns. * Other accounting support and duties as required. * Completing and analysis of year-end working paper files and financial statements. *Qualifications* * Completed a post-secondary program in accounting at the college or university level; A minimum of 2 years? experience in a public accounting practice; Experience in Quick Books and Microsoft Office; Knowledge of CaseWare and Profile; Exceptional analytical ability; Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner; Demonstrated attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have a vehicle. Experience: Accounting: 4 years (Must) Pay: $42,213.57-$72,448.94 per year Benefits: * On-site parking * RRSP match Work Location: In person
