Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move and place equipment and materials. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads.
