*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical systems, and heavy equipment maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Experience with dealership operations, heavy machinery, and electrical systems is highly valued. The position offers an engaging work environment where technical expertise and customer service skills are essential for success. *Duties* * Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, trucks, and industrial equipment using hand tools, power tools, and schematics. * Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical system troubleshooting. * Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery as needed. * Utilize welding skills for bodywork or component repairs when necessary. * Interpret technical schematics and manuals to accurately identify issues and implement solutions. * Assist with assembly and disassembly of vehicle components or industrial equipment during repair processes. * Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. * Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and maintenance recommendations clearly. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with dealership experience preferred. * Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery. * Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, HVAC, and engine components. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments. * Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools. * Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs. * Relevant certifications or licenses related to automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are a plus. This position is integral to maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet and industrial machinery while providing opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic team environment.
