*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role provides vital support to pharmacists and ensures the smooth operation of pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in patient care, medical terminology, and medication management, with prior experience in hospital or pharmacy settings preferred. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic medical environment and contribute to patient well-being. *Responsibilities* * Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently * Prepare prescription labels and package medications according to protocols * Maintain organized inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies * Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision * Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation of medication records * Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper storage and handling of medications * Support medication administration processes as directed by healthcare professionals * Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory guidelines related to pharmacy operations *Experience* * Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable * Knowledge of medical terminology related to medications and patient care * Experience with medication administration processes is a plus * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving healthcare protocols This role is essential in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate pharmaceutical services.
