*JOB OPPORTUNITY* *Bulletin No: 26-019* *Department: *Jordan?s Principle *Posting Date: *May 15th, 2026 *Position: *Physiotherapist *Reports to: *Director of Jordan?s Principle, EDI and Service Integration *Start Date: *June 22nd, 2026 *Job Type: *Unionized *Employee Group: *MAHCP *EFT: *0.5 Term anticipated until March 31st, 2027 *Responsibilities:* The Rehabilitation Centre for Children requires a Physiotherapist who will provide therapy services in First Nations communities in Manitoba, Travel will be required. Most community travel will require overnight stays. The Physiotherapist utilizes advanced skills and knowledge and performs at a high level of independence as a clinical practitioner, consultant and educator. Practices are in accordance with RCC policy and professional standards. This includes: · Collaboration with First Nations, schools, healthcare providers and community agencies who are involved with the client · Ongoing liaison with the child's caregivers · Assessment, intervention and development of goals with client and/or family · Participation in continuous quality improvement, client and staff education initiatives *Education, Licenses, Registration & Experience: * · Degree in Physiotherapy · Licensure by the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba · Minimum of two (2) years? recent clinical experience in pediatric physiotherapy is preferred · Excellent interpersonal skills · Physical fitness for lifting and bending and handling clients · Advanced written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work effectively both independently and within an inter-disciplinary team *Hours of Work: *Monday to Friday, 18.75 hours/week. *Salary:* $46.459 - $53.853per hour as per MAHCP salary scale. *Conditions of hire:* · Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to present a satisfactory Criminal Records Check (Including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse and Adult Abuse Registry Check. · Must have a valid driver?s license and access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
