<p>Location: Colborne, ON - Onsite</p><p>Exempt Position</p><p></p><p><u><strong>Sr Accountant</strong></u></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure all daily accounting transactions are recorded properly, including AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, credit cards, and bank transactions.</li><li>Complete month-end and year-end closings, including preparing and analyzing financial statements and maintaining reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.</li><li>Manage inventory records, assist with product costing, and perform cost rollups or updates as needed for manufacturing operations.</li><li>Maintain and update the chart of accounts, support GL maintenance, and coordinate with IT/ERP systems.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards such as sales tax and payroll.</li><li>Prepare data for annual audits, support tax filings, and provide schedules for external accountants or auditors.</li><li>Develop and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency in financial reporting and close processes.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and provide financial analyses for management decisions such as capital investments and pricing.</li><li>Serve as a backup or support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related finance functions during peak periods or absences.</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and other business units on cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>3+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting</li><li>Progressive accounting experience in a professional capacity; manufacturing industry experience preferred.</li><li>CPA preferred</li><li>Familiar with Canadian Accounting Principles</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems; advanced Excel skills required.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in process improvement, cost accounting, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or within a team.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous public accounting experience or exposure to manufacturing cost accounting.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><h3><strong>Why Join Cam Tran</strong></h3><p>Competitive salary and benefits</p><ul><li>$88,600 - $105,000 annual base salary range</li></ul><ul><li>Annual Incentive Plan eligible</li><li>L.E.A.R.N. development program</li><li>Clean, safety-first workplace with ISO 9001:2015 registration</li><li>Growth-oriented, values-driven culture</li></ul><p></p><p>Cam Tran welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
