Ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and department policies and is an active participant in implementing the department Occupational Health and Safety Policy and Programs.</span></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Primary Accountabilities</b></H2></div><div><p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> </p><p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Under the general direction of the Chief Park Caretaker, or designate, the Park Attendant is responsible for the seasonal operation and maintenance of designated provincial parks(s) including:</span></span></p><ul><li style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Infrastructure maintenance, vehicles, grounds and equipment;</span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Customer service and relations;</span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Monitoring park activities for regulation compliance;</span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Advising visitors of park regulations and reporting non-compliance to Conservation Officers;</span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Using the computer-based reservation and registration system;</span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Processing financial transactions, cash handling;</span></span></li><li style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style=""><span style="">Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and Workplace policies, Procedures and all Safe Work Practices at all times when on duty.</span></span></- Location Tusket, NSB0W 3M0
