The technician we are looking for is customer-driven, reliable, organized, professional, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work consistently. Key Responsibilities * Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately * Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to identify customer concerns and provide accurate repair recommendations * Complete manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repair procedures to Mazda standards * Perform provincial safety inspections according to Ontario regulations * Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs * Execute the TruVideo inspection and NPI process, including technician walk-arounds, video quality, and customer transparency * Test drive vehicles as required to verify repairs and vehicle performance * Maintain legible, accurate, and detailed repair order documentation * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment * Collaborate closely with advisors, parts, detail, and management teams to maintain efficient workflow * Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices and participate in ongoing training and development Qualifications * Valid Ontario Automotive Service Technician License (310S) required * Minimum 3 years dealership or professional automotive repair experience preferred * Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Customer-focused with strong communication and professionalism * Valid Ontario Driver?s License required What We Offer * Competitive compensation package with performance-based earning potential * Strong emphasis on work/life balance * Opportunity for growth within a family-owned dealership group * Positive team culture with hands-on leadership support * Ongoing manufacturer training, mentorship, and development * Modern tools, equipment, and process-driven operations * Company social events and team-focused environment * Stable environment with a highly tenured team and strong community reputation * Inclusive and collaborative workplace where teamwork and professionalism thrive At Cobourg Mazda, we are looking for technicians who want to make an impact, continue developing their skills, and help elevate both the customer and employee experience every day.
