*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This position offers opportunities for professional growth within a reputable organization dedicated to quality service and technical excellence. *Responsibilities* * Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on passenger vehicles, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. * Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections. * Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. * Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs or testing procedures when necessary. * Follow safety protocols related to electrical systems, welding operations, HVAC systems, and heavy lifting tasks. * Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or management. * Assist in assembling or installing mechanical components using appropriate tools and techniques. * Ensure all work complies with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. *Experience* * Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician; dealership experience is preferred. * Hands-on experience with automotive repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems. * Familiarity with industrial equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other heavy machinery like Caterpillar or farm machinery. * Knowledge of schematics for electrical wiring or mechanical systems is advantageous. * Experience with welding, HVAC systems, power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques is desirable. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. * Prior work involving schematics reading, assembly tasks, or industrial equipment maintenance will be considered a plus.
