*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to support our healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans, managing patient needs, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, particularly within hospital and acute care settings. *Duties* * Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment sessions * Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is sanitized and ready for use * Support patients during therapy exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety * Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist * Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes * Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records * Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies to ensure patient safety * Provide compassionate patient care, demonstrating excellent communication skills and empathy *Requirements* * Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care * Experience with patient care, including assisting with mobility and rehabilitation exercises * Knowledge of hospital procedures, safety standards, and infection control practices * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team * Certification or training related to physiotherapy assistance is mandatory This position is integral to supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering effective rehabilitation services.
