*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage logistics effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service. *Duties* * Operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long distances. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo information. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. * Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. * Operate heavy equipment or forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. *Requirements* * Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. * Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. * Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick fixes on the road. * Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is advantageous. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. * Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
