We are seeking a vigilant, reliable, and professional Event Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and venue premises during events and functions. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong visible presence, monitor guest activity, assist with crowd management, and respond promptly to incidents while providing excellent customer service. Duties * Monitor entrances, exits, guest areas, and restricted areas during events and functions * Conduct active patrols throughout the venue to maintain a safe and secure environment * Manage crowd control and assist with orderly guest entry and exit procedures * Verify guest access, monitor wristbands/tickets, and enforce venue policies and regulations * Respond quickly and professionally to disturbances, emergencies, conflicts, or suspicious activity * Assist with de-escalation of difficult situations while maintaining professionalism and respect * Monitor fire routes, emergency exits, and safety procedures throughout the event * Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs when required * Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with directions or general inquiries * Work closely with venue management, event staff, emergency responders, and law enforcement if required * Maintain professional appearance, proper uniform standards, and company security procedures at all times Qualifications * Previous experience in event security, nightlife security, customer service, or related fields is considered an asset * Valid Security Guard License required * Smart Serve certification considered an asset * First Aid & CPR certification considered an asset * Strong communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills * Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations * Strong observational skills with attention to detail * Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods during shifts * Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night events * Must be able to pass background checks and meet company licensing requirements This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced event environment where professionalism, vigilance, and strong customer service help create a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and staff.
