If you are committed to excellence in security operations and dedicated to safeguarding diplomatic interests, VxL is the ideal place to advance your career and make a significant impact in the field of diplomatic security.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct regular patrols to monitor and secure diplomatic premises and grounds.</li><li>Monitor security surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity immediately.</li><li>Control access to diplomatic facilities by verifying credentials and managing visitor logs.</li><li>Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.</li><li>Collaborate with local law enforcement and other security agencies as necessary.</li><li>Enforce compliance with diplomatic security protocols and procedures at all times.</li><li>Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Pay</strong></p><ul><li>$21.00 - $23.00 CAD / Hour</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Hours</strong></p><p>Part time: Monday to Friday 0800-1200. 4 hour shifts 5 days a week. </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in security roles, preferably in diplomatic or high-security environments.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of security operations and emergency response procedures.</li><li>Strong observational skills and keen attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with diverse personnel.</li><li>Valid security guard license or certification as required by local authorities.</li><li>Willingness to undergo rigorous background checks and security clearances.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Fully paid benefits provided by the company to include:</p><p>Health</p><p>Dental</p><p>Vision</p><p>Commuter benefits </p><p>etc</p>- Location Halifax, NS
