You will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient production schedules, coordinating with various teams to optimize the use of resources, and managing job workflows to meet tight deadlines. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze production data, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively address any challenges that arise. With a focus on quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery, you will be an integral part of our team, driving operational excellence and supporting Ampco's commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance cost efficiency.</li><li>Ensure the accuracy of estimates and job order entries.</li><li>Allocate and distribute work to optimize the utilization of staff and equipment.</li><li>Develop production flow charts and maintain pre-press schedules.</li><li>Coordinate jobs in progress and keep stakeholders updated on status, delivery timelines, or any changes.</li><li>Plan the sequence of assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations to ensure efficient workflow.</li><li>Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and customer requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.</li><li>Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of production activities, schedules, and workflow changes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of new production planning tools and systems.</li><li>Communicate regularly with the sales, customer service, and logistics teams to align production plans with customer needs.</li></ul><div><br><strong>What You Bring to Ampco:</strong></div><ul><li>Experience in pre-press and print production is highly advantageous.</li><li>Proficiency in PC-based MS applications such as Word and Excel, along with experience using Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and thoroughness.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment.</li><li>A team player with confidence, assertiveness, and a high level o- Location Coquitlam, BC
