*Job Summary:* We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic individual for the *full-time position* of *Creative Director *to join our creative team and play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision for both our company and our world-class client roster. You?ll set the standard for quality, lead a growing team of full-time and freelance art directors, industrial designers, designers, production artists and copywriters, and ensure every brief we take on gets answered with ideas that are both strategically grounded and beautifully made. You?ll work closely with our client and production teams, translating brand objectives into compelling promotions, displays, event builds, digital/social communication, and in-store experiences that drive conversion. You?re as comfortable presenting a concept to a senior marketing client as you are giving detailed feedback on a structural design mock-up. You understand that great creative work at retail must do more than look good. It must earn attention, reinforce brand identity, and hold up in the real world. *Key Responsibilities* * Help develop the Go-To-Market strategies, brand identities, communication plans, and lead the development of all creative assets for the organization and its affiliated business units. * Lead and inspire a creative team of full-time and freelance art directors, industrial designers, designers, production artists and copywriters, establishing a culture of craft, accountability, and growth. You invest in the people around you and measure your success in part by theirs. * Set and uphold the creative standard across all Godin creative output. This means owning the work from concept development through to production-ready design, and ensuring every project is strategically sound, insight-driven and both visually attractive and persuasive. * Partner with account and production teams to translate briefs into compelling creative work. You bring the big thinking and the practical judgment to make it real. * Develop ideas that create genuine connections between consumers, shoppers and brand. The goal is work that earns its place in a retail environment and drives shopper conversion. * Build and evolve creative processes that help streamline Godin?s industry-leading production capabilities, turning our structural and industrial design and manufacturing strengths into creative advantages for clients. * Present and sell creative work to senior stakeholders at Canada?s leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and durable goods companies and retail brands, with the confidence and clarity to make complex ideas feel understandable and logical. * Bring ideas to life consistently across all brand touchpoints, whether that?s an in-store campaign, retail display program, a print campaign, experiential event, or digital/social and content executions. * Stay connected to brand and retail trends and data, understanding where our clients? categories are going and bringing new thinking into client relationships proactively. *Qualifications:* *Education:* * Bachelor?s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field, or equivalent mix of experience and other formal design training. *Core Professional Competencies:* * 15+ years of creative industry experience working on high-profile brands. Significant exposure to and experience developing integrated marketing campaigns for CPG, retail, health & beauty and technology companies is ideal. * 5+ years in a Creative Director role, ideally at an advertising or shopper marketing agency. * Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing contexts is an asset. * Proven experience and success leading multiple brand identity projects is a must. You should have a deep understanding of brand identity and how to steward a brand across physical touchpoints. * You have a solid understanding of the Canadian retail environment, including grocery, mass, drug, C&G and club channels.
