*Carpenter ? Job Opportunity* We are currently seeking a *skilled and reliable Carpenter* to join our team in Saint John. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship, precision, and safety. *Key Responsibilities* * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings * Perform a variety of carpentry and general construction tasks, including, but not limited to: * Caulking and sealing * Restoration and repair work * Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, and other materials * Repair or replace damaged structural components, framing, or finish work * Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications * Work collaboratively with other trades and team members to complete projects on time and to high standards *Qualifications and Requirements* * Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar construction role * Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as construction equipment * Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and industry best practices * Ability to accurately read and interpret technical documents and blueprints * High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills * Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions * Strong organizational and time management skills * Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or relevant certification is preferred * Valid driver's License * Must have several years of experience with framing, siding, window & door installation. * Must have own vehicle * Must be willing to work Monday to Friday 8am-430pm * Must be willing to work exterior in the winter *What We Offer* * A dynamic and team-oriented work environment * Competitive compensation based on experience * Opportunities for skill development and career advancement * Projects that value craftsmanship and attention to detail If you're a motivated and skilled Carpenter looking to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply and become a valued part of our team.
