The Office Assistant will work on keeping our projects organized, supporting our trainees in finding work, and helping us tell our story to the public. *Core Responsibilities* * Assist with internal organization, including scheduling, digital filing, and maintaining project documentation. * Help maintain relationships with local contractors and community partners to support program graduates and hiring efforts. * Represent the organization at community events and job fairs to raise awareness of our mission and services. * Assist in capturing photos and stories from the field to support our social media and marketing efforts. * Use data to track and report program impact and project metrics * Provide hands-on help with organizing meetings, booking spaces, and preparing for community events _The Government of Canada funded this job through the Canada Summer Jobs program. _ *To apply for this job, you must:* * Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job; * Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and * Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada. * *International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.* *Important*: You can apply to multiple jobs, but you can only work one full-time job funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program at a time. *Requirements* * Strong working knowledge of *Google Workspace* (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar) * Ability to communicate professionally with program participants, community partners, and contractors. * Ability to manage multiple small projects at once (e.g., jumping from a spreadsheet to prepping for a community event). * Strong written communication for professional emails * Must have CSA-approved steel-toe boots. * Primarily Monday?Thursday, but able to attend occasional community events on Friday's and Weekends. _Community Builders is an equal opportunity employer.
