We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking *AZ Driver / Helper* to join our team. *Anticipated Start Date:* As soon as possible *Location:* Barrie, Ontario *Terms of Employment:* Permanent Full-Time (Occasional On-Call, Weekends, Overtime) *Job Duties* * Day deliveries primarily within the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas * Occasional out-of-town deliveries with overnight travel * Loading, unloading, and securing machinery and structural steel * General plant maintenance and labour duties including: Shipping and receiving, sweeping and cleaning, grinding and painting, assisting with shop operations as required *Qualifications & Experience* * Completion of high school, vocational, or technical training * Valid AZ Driver?s License with a clean driver?s abstract * Minimum 4 years of experience * Familiarity with machinery, hand tools, and factory equipment * Experience in custom fabrication, manufacturing machinery/equipment, or structural steel manufacturing considered an asset * Ability to work with both metric and imperial measurements Experience loading/unloading and securing machinery and steel is considered an asset *Safety & Physical Requirements* * Must be bondable and able to pass a basic security clearance and criminal record check * Ability to lift 45 kg (100 lbs) * Fast-paced, physically demanding environment * Indoor/outdoor work with extended standing periods * Occasional work at heights and overnight travel * Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity *Required Equipment* * Steel-toed safety boots *Essential Skills* * Strong communication and teamwork * Problem-solving and organizational skills * Self starter with the ability to work independently * Attention to detail and safety awareness * Willingness to learn and adapt We are an equal opportunity employer committed to the inclusion and accommodation of all individuals.
