*Job Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food industry setting, engaging with customers and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Prior barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in your role. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling * Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cashiering duties * Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards * Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products * Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service * Follow food handling and safety procedures at all times * Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts * Uphold excellent customer service standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere *Requirements* * Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided * Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons * Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous * Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely service * Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus * Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team and enjoy the opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while delivering exceptional service in a dynamic setting.
