This role is ideal for an experienced kitchen leader who enjoys working alongside their team, building strong systems, mentoring staff, and delivering consistent, high-quality food execution.</p><p>This is a practical working leadership role focused on:</p><ul><li>Kitchen execution</li><li>Team leadership</li><li>Food quality & consistency</li><li>Organization & systems</li><li>Supporting a positive kitchen culture</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to strengthen operations while supporting an enjoyable and professional workplace environment.</p><p> </p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Kitchen Operations & Food Execution</p><ul><li>Lead daily kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, presentation, and efficiency</li><li>Work hands-on during service periods and assist during peak operations</li><li>Ensure recipes, plating standards, prep expectations, and portion controls are consistently followed</li><li>Assist with developing seasonal features and menu ideas</li><li>Maintain organization, cleanliness, and kitchen workflow efficiency</li></ul><p>Team Leadership & Staff Development</p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and support back-of-house staff</li><li>Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling input, and performance management</li><li>Build strong kitchen routines, accountability, and teamwork</li><li>Support the development of reliable line leadership and training systems</li></ul><p>Systems, Safety & Compliance</p><ul><li>Execute prep systems, inventory counts, and portion controls</li><li>Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Alberta health regulations</li><li>Support kitchen organization, consistency, and operational standards</li><li>Assist with implementing written procedures and staff training systems</li></ul><p>Collaboration</p><ul><li>Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to align kitchen execution with operational goals, staffing levels, seasonal business demands, and guest expectations</li><li>Communicate effectively with front-of-house leadership to support smooth service operations</li></ul><p> </p><p>Qualifications & Skills</p><ul><li>Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience preferred, minimum 2-3 years</li><li>Strong food execution and line experience</li><li>Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Positive attitude with a team-first mindset</li><li>Strong communication and leadership abilities</li><li>Food Safe certification considered an asset</li></ul><p> </p><p>What Success Looks Like</p><ul><li>Consistent food quality and execution</li><li>Improved kitchen organization and efficiency</li><li>Strong staff morale and teamwork</li><li>Reliable service during peak periods</li><li>Reduced operational pressure on leadership team</li></ul><p> </p><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Potential monthly retention bonus based on performance</li><li>Competitive seasonal compensation</li><li>Gratuities</li><li>Staff golf privileges and discounts</li><li>Opportunity to help shape kitchen systems and culture</li><li>Work in a beautiful mountain golf course setting</li><li>Supportive and team-oriented work environment</li></ul><p>Wage: $30/hr</p></div></div>- Location Blairmore, AB
