<p>Hello, my name is Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, a recruitment firm specialized in technical, engineering, and manufacturing roles. <br>I am currently recruiting a Quality & Regulatory Affairs Technician for a well-established food manufacturing company located on the South Shore of Montreal.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>Your Role <br>Reporting to the Quality and Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the company?s quality standards, food safety, and regulatory compliance. <br>Your main responsibilities will include the following: <br>Quality <br>? Ensure compliance with quality procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) <br>? Perform production floor inspections to ensure processes and products meet company standards <br>? Identify, document, and report any non-conformities or production issues <br>? Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections <br>? Verify the compliance of incoming raw materials <br>? Support the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) <br>? Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation <br>Regulatory Affairs <br>? Verify the regulatory compliance of finished product labels <br>? Assist in maintaining and updating product regulatory files <br>? Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (CFIA, Health Canada, etc.) <br>? Contribute to regulatory monitoring and implementation of new requirements <br>? Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product and process compliance <br>Continuous Improvement <br>? Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and food safety <br>? Contribute to the optimization of quality procedures and processes <br>? Perform any other related tasks required by management</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Profile : <br> <br>? College diploma (DEC) or university degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field <br>? 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs within the food manufacturing industry <br>? Good knowledge of HACCP, SQF, or BRC standards <br>? Knowledge of Canadian regulatory requirements (CFIA / Health Canada) <br>? Bilingualism (French / English) - spoken and written <br>? Good proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) <br>Skills <br>? Strong attention to detail <br>? Analytical and methodical mindset <br>? Strong organizational skills <br>? Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively <br> <br>Conditions : <br> <br>? Permanent position - Day shift <br>? Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year depending on experience <br>?
