<p>Join our team at an accounting firm in Old Montreal and thrive in a stimulating environment that promotes continuous learning and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth.</p><p><br><strong>Key Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform bookkeeping and financial analysis of financial statements</li><li>Prepare client payrolls</li><li>Prepare year-end financial statements in the form of a compilation</li><li>Prepare corporate tax returns for companies</li><li>Prepare year-end forms (T4, T5)</li><li>Prepare individual tax returns</li><li>Review the bookkeeping of junior technicians</li><li>Prepare financial forecasts</li><li>Prepare reports for management or the board of directors</li></ul> <br> <strong>Requirements</strong><br><ul><li>At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience</li><li>Experience in an accounting firm is a plus</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office</li><li>Knowledge of Sage 50 and/or QuickBooks (Intuit) is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview software is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of Taxprep software is a plus</li></ul><strong>Skills</strong><br><ul><li>Ability to identify accounting issues and resolve them efficiently</li><li>Excellent customer service: attentive to client needs and effective communication</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work in a team</li><li>Financial analysis skills</li><li>Ability to make quick and effective decisions and demonstrate attention to detail</li><li>Verbal and written communication skills in English and French</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li><li>Ability to manage priorities and time effectively</li><li>Independence</li></ul>- Location Montréal, QC
