*ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT *required by the Smallwood Crescent Community Centre (25-30 hrs/wk) Qualifications for the position would normally include a Diploma in Office Administration/Business Administration, with experience in payroll, financial journal entries, bank reconciliations, etc? Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel is required. Experience with Sage Simply Accounting is considered a strong asset. Duties will include: supporting the Executive Director in day-to-day office & administrative duties (check mail & send postage on a regular basis, take messages, check voicemails) completing bookkeeping duties, as required (write cheques, pay bills, financial data entry to Simply Accounting, journal entries, bank reconciliations, VISA reconciliations, invoicing etc.) completing payroll on a bi-weekly basis; complete CRA payroll remittance monthly supporting the Executive Director in the preparation of financials for the Annual Audit recording minutes at staff meetings; prepare minutes & send to Executive Director for approval other administrative duties & office duties, as requested by the Executive Director Applicants should: have a positive attitude be non-judgemental have good communication skills be flexible with duties, in a team environment maintain strict confidentiality of their work Please send resumes to: Hiring Committee Smallwood Crescent Community Centre Inc.
