The company is committed to ensuring workers go home safe each and every day. *Summary:* Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating heavy civil construction projects, including, but not limited to, project scope, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client expectations. The Project Manager will be hands-on, working in the office and going out to the site, highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail. This role requires a strong understanding of specifications, contracts and project planning. Experience with heavy civil pipe works and/or earthworks will be an asset along with an understanding of site order of operations. *Job Duties Responsibilities:* * Plan, lead, and coordinate site services projects such as sewer and water projects, civil earthwork, and clean up. * Work with the General Superintendents to coordinate crews and help plan/arrange activities for the week & month. * Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and third parties. * Manage project submissions, reports, orders, and material management. * Manage client expectations and be the primary contact for any changes, updates, and issues. * Plan and manage risk mitigation strategies. * Track progress, changes, claims and prepare appropriate documents. * Professionally handle sensitive and confidential information. * Ensure sites comply with safety standard requirements and regulatory requirements. * Comply with all Company policies and procedures. * Other duties as assigned. *Job Requirements:* * 3+ years of experience in a project management related role. * Post-secondary education in Construction Management or an Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) program is an asset. * Experience in civil construction and/or civil earthworks disciplines. * Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints, specifications, and contract documents. * Meticulous attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. * Collaborative and adaptable team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment. * Flexible hours; evenings or weekends may be required at times. *Benefits:* * Benefits after 3 months * Company matching RRSP contributions after 3 months * Competitive wages * Room for growth and advancement We thank all applicants; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
