Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Realize modelling and simulation exercises on computerized units. Set up and operate various specialized binding equipment and machines. Set up and operate various specialized finishing equipment and machines. Repair and rebind damaged or worn books. Operate automatic and semi-automatic equipment and machines to bind or finish print material according to specifications. Pack, weigh and stack bound and finished products on pallet for shipment. Perform pre-production runs of binding or finishing jobs to verify output and to ensure that product specifications are met. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Reliability. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Day.
