The Mill Pub is looking for an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality food, and works well as part of a team. This is a great opportunity for a passionate cook looking to grow their culinary career in a busy pub atmosphere. Accomodations can be provided. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards * Manage and maintain an assigned kitchen station during service * Ensure food is plated consistently and presented professionally * Assist with prep work, inventory control, and stocking supplies * Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations * Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality * Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams * Support the Head Chef and kitchen leadership as needed * Perform any and all other job related tasks assigned by management. *QUALIFICATIONS:* * Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or similar kitchen role * Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Red Seal preferred. * Food Safe certified. * Must have strong a la carte experience and large function catering experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $300.00 per day Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * Sous Chef: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person- Location Quesnel, BC
