Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Industrial/commercial (general). Furniture. Tasks: Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment. Operate machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis. Operate sewing machines or sew by hand. Make custom designs for clients. Type of materials: Leather. Equipment and machinery experience: Double needle machine. Industrial sewing machine. Single needle machine. Sewing experience: Commercial. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Manual dexterity.
