Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment. Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Repair cable signals. Test equipment to locate transmission faults. Install trunking systems, circuits and equipment. Complete and maintain test and service reports. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets. Determine work assignments. Splice, join and connect wires. Repair or replace defective telephone equipment. Employment terms options: Early morning. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Employment terms options: Evening.
