Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: TV and film produciton companies. Remote or mobile. Tasks: Produce computerized images and drawings. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations. Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations. Adapt existing illustrations. Computer and technology knowledge: NUKE. Houdini. Type of production art: Visual effects. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Internet access. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Reliability. Team player. Initiative. Efficient interpersonal skills. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?.
