*Carpenter ? Job Description* We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential construction, including framing, restoration, installation, and custom fabrication. This role requires a high standard of workmanship, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and finishes using wood and other building materials. *Duties & Responsibilities* * Perform *framing of walls, floors, roofs, and structural components* * Restore and repair existing structures to meet safety standards and project specifications * Install siding, drywall, flooring, and other finish materials * Fabricate and install custom woodwork and fixtures * Assist with basic electrical and plumbing tasks as required during renovations * Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper air/vapour sealing and durability * Perform material handling and *heavy lifting* as required on job sites * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans accurately * Work closely with other trades to ensure projects are completed on time and to spec * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential construction or renovations * Strong knowledge of *framing*, carpentry methods, tools, and materials * Ability to read and execute from blueprints and technical drawings * Experience with siding, drywall, and finishing work * Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems (asset, not required) * Physically capable of lifting materials and working on your feet for extended periods * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Reliable, with good communication and teamwork skills * Valid driver?s license and transportation to job sites preferred *Closing* Join a growing team where quality workmanship is valued and every project matters.
